Having been a teacher with MOE himself, Mr Lim headhunts all the Advisors at Avante Education Group and handpicks teachers who have been certified by the National Institute of Education (NIE) to deliver lessons with quality at Avante Education centres.
Our caring teachers
Primary Teacher (English / Math / Science)
Mr Elijah Ng joined Avante Education as a centre manager in November 2014. Other than handling the operations of the centre, he will be teaching some primary English, Math and Science classes. Mr Ng, a graduate, has 4 years of teaching experience in Singapore schools after receiving his training in NIE.
Primary English Teacher
Ms Angela Tay has been with Mdm Tan's Learning Centre since 2010. She is a dedicated and committed teacher who makes sure that every child learns.
Primary English Teacher
Mrs Bay has 4 years of teaching experience in MOE schools. She is trained to teach English at Primary School level and only one of the few NIE trained music teacher. Her pleasant composure allows children to approach her with ease.
Primary Science Teacher
Mrs Dolly San is currently an adjunct teacher in MOE schools. She earned her veteran rank after teaching for 15 years in local and overseas schools. Her positive learning attitude and patience has allowed her to build strong rapport with her students for many years.
Primary & Secondary English Teacher
Ms Regine Tan has 5 years of teaching experience in MOE schools. During her service in schools, she had developed interesting learning lessons that has kept the students interested in the subject. Ms Tan's outgoing and outspoken character allows her to have effective communications with students.
Secondary Mathematics Teacher
Mr Alvin Lim has 3 years of teaching experience in MOE schools. He has more than 20 students, since he started tutoring last year. He is a dedicated teacher who puts students' learning before everything else. His professionalism has gained many positive feedback from parents.

Primary English Advisor
Mdm Tan was a Secondary school teacher before taking over her father’s tuition centre in 2000. Drawing from her past experience, she refined the techniques for tackling higher level comprehension and composition for her Primary students and created prized materials compiled from over 20 years of teaching. Her creative methods have helped her build a strong foundation in her young students to grasp English grammar and excel in comprehension and composition.
Primary Math Advisor
Mrs Bernice Lau was the Head of Department (HOD) of Mathematics at several top schools including Anglo-Chinese School (ACS). She is currently the author of 26 Primary School Mathematics titles with the established publisher, Marshall Cavendish.
Primary Science Advisor
Mrs Doris Lim, who has been with the MOE for the past 14 years, is a veteran who has created an invaluable set of Primary Science materials that has helped countless students score A* in the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE). Mdm Tan’s students will now have full access to these materials, with Mrs Lim guiding the teachers closely on their applications.
Secondary Advisor (Interim)
The Secondary Advisor role is currently covered by the founder/director of Avante Education, Mr Jackie Lim. A multiple award-winning educator who has clinched six brand and education accolades consecutively for the past three years, Mr Lim is also the author of a highly regarded property investment book that breaks down the art of property investment into easy-to-follow investment formulae.
